Started in 1994, The Shelford Feast maintains the tradition of bringing our community together, to celebrate and enjoy local produce, all with the aim of having a good time and raising money for good local causes. In 2016 £27,250 was given to 37 local causes, making the grand total donated since 1994 a whopping £274,055. As The Feast’s main sponsor we would love help raise much much more!

This year’s Feast will take place between 9 – 16 July, with evening events throughout the week preceding The Feast itself.

There is a wide range of activities and events, including live music, a beer festival, stand-up comedy, children’s disco, quiz night and community events, plus excellent food and drink. To end the festival is The Feast where you will find stalls of all kinds, activities held in the Grand Arena and lots of things to watch and do, including an extensive display of classic cars and bikes.

The bar holds a wide range of beers and other drinks, while food on offer is spit-roast beef or pork; 100% locally sourced beef burgers and sausages from Barker Bros Butchers. This year’s music is from The City of Cambridge Brass Band, The Reavey Bros Band, The BigBeats Drum Workshop, Sawston Samba and Shelford School Choir.

Tickets are now available in our Great Shelford branch, 48-50 Woollards Lane, Great Shelford, Cambridge, CB22 5LZ or click here for more information.
